Failure to follow these safety instructions while performing this fuel line repair could result in severe personal
injury. Before performing this repair always:
• Disconnect spark plug wire.
• Drain fuel from fuel tank and store in an approved container a minimum of 10 feet away from the work area.
Pump purge to remove fuel from the carburetor.
• Perform the repair in a well ventilated area, away from open flames or ignition sources.
Tools Required: Standard flat blade screwdriver, cross-head screw
driver, 4 mm hex wrench, needle nose pliers.
Lubricant for grommet installation. (Echo grease)
Parts Required: P050007390 Kit
Air Filter Cover, air filter, air filter base plate, 90
degree nylon fuel fitting, new purge inlet fuel line,
balance tube, purge bulb assembly, fuel line, air filter
cover mounting screws (2)

NSTALLATION
1. Move stop switch to STOP position, and disconnect spark plug
lead from spark plug.
2. Remove air filter cover, then disconnect throttle cable from
carburetor.
3. Discard old air filter cover.
4. Remove spit back plate, air filter case, and carburetor. Discard
old air filter case. Retain screws and spit back plate.
5. Remove fuel tank grommet with fuel lines from the fuel tank.
6. Remove the clear yellow purge return line, and discard.
