Remove the battery prior to each transport

Check the battery against damages

Tape off the electrical contacts

Package the battery in non-conductive packaging where it
cannot slip within (use the original packaging).

Secure the package against slipping.
The battery is subject to the requirement "Transport of hazardous
goods" and is rated as UN 3480 lithium-ion battery. The battery has
been tested according to the test procedure from the manual
"Transport of hazardous goods" ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.5 Annex 1

The lithium-ion content of the rechargeable battery (as single part)
is below the required limit and thus does not fall under national or
international hazardous goods regulations. The battery can be
transported by the user without further regulations.
However, in case of transporting several batteries or for transport
by air or freight company, the hazardous goods regulation applies.
Specific packaging regulations and markings of the packaging must
be observed.
