Removal
 Pull the unlocking lever (B) up and pull the battery out from the
battery well.
Remove the battery prior to each maintenance
and cleaning
Necessary repair or maintenance tasks have to be carried out
before using the battery.
Maintenance and repair work other than those described in this
chapter is only allowed to be carried out by service staff.
Maintenance
Check the battery on a regular basis to ensure
 it is not damaged
 it is clean and dry

the electrical contacts (D) are intact
 the LED charge level indicator is working
 the locking and release mechanism is intact
A defective battery may not be charged or repaired but
must be disposed of.

Cleaning

Clean the housing with a damp rag

Clean the electrical contacts with a dry brush.
