Pay attention to that the ventilation slots for the cooling are free
(risk of overheating).

Keep the battery free from moisture, oil and grease.
Water, solvents and polishing agents shall not be applied.
Remove the battery prior to each storage
Store the unused battery
 outside the reach of children
 clean and dry
 in non-conductive packaging (use the original packaging)
 separate from charger and power tool
 at a dry, locked place
 Observe the following before extended storage to extend the
life of the charger
 Thoroughly clean the device.
 Store the battery cool and dry (temperature range between 10-
25 °C)
 Battery is only partially charged
(average charge condition 40-60% - 2 LEDs are lit)
In case of extended storage, check the charge condition
of the battery occasionally (approx. every 3-4 months)

Slightly charge the battery if the charge level is only
around or below 20% (one LED is lit).
