A P P L I C A T I O N
For tangential preparations, increase the "crown border thickness"
and "Angled" parameters, e.g.:
▪ 1. Crown border thickness (Horizontal): 0.5 - 0. mm

▪ 2. Angled: 0.35 - 0.4 mm
Positioning in the CAM software
▷ Apply enough sufficiently thick
holding ridges (at least 3 ridges for
a single crown; thickness > 1.7 mm).
▷ Position holding ridges approx. 1 - 2
mm away from the crown margin,
especially for long crown margins.
This provides support to the crown
margin.
▷ Position the crown in the blank in
such a manner that the clearance
from the crown margin to the blank
surface is at least 1 mm.
This ensures that the crown has no
contact to the sinter skin of the blank.

Observe zirconium-oxide-efficient design forms and do not
create pointed edges.
