Putting Into Operation

The device can be operated either with batteries or with the mains adapter supplied.
Before use, insert the batteries or connect the mains adapter.

Inserting / Changing Batteries

The battery compartment is on the rear of the control unit. You will need four 1.5
volt AA batteries. Use only standard batteries, never rechargeable batteries!
Four batteries are already included in this device at the time of delivery. The demo
batteries supplied only have enough power to operate the device for approx. 20 min-
utes. Remove the transport securing device before  rst use.
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert four 1.5 volt AA type batteries. Ensure the correct polarity (+/-) when
inserting the batteries.
3. Then close the battery compartment.

Connecting the Mains Adapter

1. Connect the mains adapter to the control unit.
The connection is located below the area for
opening the battery compartment.
2. Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed
socket which corresponds to the technical data
of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
