M-10X E
The M-10x E power conditioner provides 11
switched outlets for powering equipment. It
not only protects anything plugged into it from
spikes and surges, but also has a built in AC
noise filter to rid the system of RFI / EMI inter-
ference. This allows equipment to function bet-
ter and last longer.
M-10LX E
In addition to features of the M-10x E, the M-
10Lx E features LED rack lights and wide band-
width AC filtering. A dimmer control for the rack
lights allows the user to adjust the level of il-
lumination.
OPERATION
Retractable Rack Lights and Dimmer Control:
The M-10Lx E utilizes a dimmer control for the
two retractable front panel light tubes. The dim-
mer knob controls the brightness of both light
fixtures. Turn it clockwise to increase brightness;
turn it counter-clockwise to decrease brightness.
When the lights are not in use, we recommend
pushing the fixtures all the way into the chassis
to better maximize the life of the bulbs.
NOTE: The Merit Series units do not compen-
sate for high or low line voltage. If you frequent-
ly move your rack to different locations, derive
power from generators, use long extension
cords, travel internationally, or are in an area
prone to brownouts, you may benefit from the
use of one of Furman's AC Line Voltage Regula-
tors.
On/Off Rocker Switch:
The front panel on/off rocker switches power on
and off to all outlets (including the front panel
outlet) as well as the retractable LED lights (M-
10Lx E). This 10 amp capacity power switch is
specifically designed to stand up to the enor-
mous high inrush current demands of many
power amplifiers.
Circuit breaker:
If you are not getting any power to the outlets
even though the unit is switched on, the circuit
breaker might have tripped. To reset the circuit
breaker, push the round reset button located on
the rear panel.
Power Cord:
Your Merit Series product includes a 3/1.0 mm
AWG, 2.5 meter, black IEC Female to Schuko
male removable power cord. If another cord is
needed at your installation, please contact your
Furman distributor or Furman Sound directly at
