NOTE
When the appliance is in operation, the coffee jug (7) must

be under the filter compartment (10) and the lid of the coffee
jug must be fitted correctly. The lid of the coffee jug presses
the drip protector (9) upwards, and the coffee can flow from
the filter through the lid into the coffee jug.
The drip protector (9) prevents water running out of the
►
filter when the coffee jug (7) is removed from the appliance.
During the brewing process however, the coffee jug (7)
should not be removed from the appliance for more than 30
seconds, otherwise the filter will fill up and the coffee will
overflow.
When the brewing process has been completed, the "cup"
►
symbol (20) in the top left of the display starts flashing.
NOTE
Activate the display lighting by pressing any key. The
►
lighting goes out 60 seconds after the last button was
pressed.
