In Case of Difficulty
If you encounter a problem, please review the
items in the following check list. This guide will
help you isolate the problem if the unit is at
fault. Otherwise, make sure the rest of your
system is properly connected or consult your
authorized Alpine dealer.
Initial turn-on after
installation
Cause and Solution
•
Vehicle's ignition key is off.
–
Turn the vehicle's ignition key to on.
•
Unit's power is not on.
–
Turn the vehicle's ignition key to on, then
press "PWR" on the head unit to turn on
the power.
•
Power cord is not properly connected.
–
Connect the cord properly.
•
Fuse is blown.
–
Replace with a fuse of the specified
capacity.
•
Volume is set at minimum.
–
Increase the volume level. (refer p.20)
•
Cords are not properly connected.
–
Connect the cords properly.
•
Speaker is set to "OFF" mode.
–
Set the speaker to the "ON" mode. (refer
p.38 – 40)
•
Dolby Surround mode is set to "DIGITAL".
–
Do not input Dolby Digital signals.
•
Dolby Surround mode is set to "PRO LOGIC".
–
Set the Dolby Surround mode to "OFF".

•
No Dolby Digital signals are being input.
–
Input Dolby Digital signals.
•
Dolby Surround mode is set to "OFF".

Set the Dolby Surround mode to "PRO
