9.5.3 Keld 5 High
9.5.3.1 Outside air connection
Outside air connections are available for these appliances as accessories. Assembly always takes place at the
bottom of the appliance. Connection is possible via both the rear and bottom side.
When mounting the outside air connection, please proceed as follows (see Appendix 2, fig. 9a/9b and 11a/11b):
Ø
Loosen the 5 bolts that are pre-mounted on the outside air connection.
Ø
Bring the outside air connection against the plate on the bottom of the appliance.
Ø
Then re-tighten the 5 bolts.
Ø
Now decide whether you will be using a rear or bottom connection.
In case of a rear connection (see Appendix 2, fig. 9a/9b):
Ø
Fasten the tray for the benefit of the rear connection with 4 bolts.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose to the round 'pipe opening' of the above-mentioned tray. The flexible hose can only be
fed from the rear.
The round pipe opening for the benefit of the lower connection is not needed during installation and should be

disposed of responsibly.
In case of a bottom connection (see Appendix 2, fig. 11a/11b):
Ø
Mount the supplied round pipe opening using 4 bolts.
Ø
Connect the flexible hose (Ø 80 mm) to this pipe opening.
The tray with round pipe opening for the benefit of the rear connection is not needed during installation and

should be disposed of responsibly.
9.5.3.2 Assembly/disassembly of glass pane in door

Avoid damage when removing/fitting the glass pane.
!Caution
•
Avoid/remove fingerprints on the glass pane(s) as they will burn into the glass.
Use the supplied glass pane cleaner to remove fingerprints from the glass pane(s).
!Tip
To remove the glass pane and then remount it in the door, please follow the instructions below
(see Appendix 2, fig. 10).
Disassembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Open the door.
Ø
Lift out the door by sliding it upwards.
Ø
Place the door on a flat surface.
Ø
Unscrew the 4 bolts that hold the clamps.
Ø
Lift out the glass pane. The pane seal is also taken out.
Assembly of glass pane in door:
Ø
Mount the glass pane and place back the door by performing the steps for disassembling the glass pane in
reverse order.

Do not fasten the bolts too tight to avoid breaking off and/or stripping: overtightening will cause breakage.
!Caution
•
Place the glass pane (including new pane seal) with the logo to the bottom right.
9.5.3.3 Replacing door seal
Proceed as follows when replacing the door seal:
Ø
Remove the door seal by taking it out of the integrated groove.
Ø
Remove excess kit residues from the door seal groove.
Ø
Use a heat-resistant kit to apply a new layer of kit in the groove.
Ø
Place the new door seal.
