SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Always ensure that the tool is switched off and
the plug is removed from the power point before making
any adjustments or carrying out maintenance.
• Any damage to this tool should be repaired and
carefully inspected by qualified repair personnel before
use
• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
GENERAL INSPECTION
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are tight. They
may vibrate loose over time.
POWER CORD MAINTENANCE
If the supply cord needs replacing, the task must be
carried out by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's agent,
or an authorised service centre in order to avoid a safety
hazard.

NOTE: The versatility of this tool goes far beyond what
is covered in this manual and this serves only as an
introduction to its features and operation.
• Excessively worn brushes may cause loss of power,
intermittent failure, or visible sparking
• To replace the brushes acquire new brushes from your
Triton stockist, remove the brush access plugs from
both sides of the machine. Remove the worn brushes
and replace with new. Replace brush access plugs.
• Alternatively, have the carbon brushes replaced at an
authorized Triton service centre
CLEANING
1. 1. Remove dust and dirt regularly. Frequently blow or
vacuum dust away from all parts of the machine and
the motor housing
2. 2. After cleaning it may be necessary to lubricate the
fence and guide mechanism to make sure they work
smoothly. Remove excess oil or grease after applying
3. 3. Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts. A
mild detergent on a damp cloth is recommended
Warning: Water must never be allowed to enter the main
body of the power tool. Be careful when cleaning around
vents and other openings on the main body.
