16 FAULTS / CAUSES / REMEDIES
Two main faults may occur in the 50&70ST weepers series: the machine causes dust during use or leaves dirt on the
floor; there can be many reasons for this but if the machine is used correctly and routine maintenance is carried out
regulary, they should not occur very often.
Therefore:
FAULTS
The machine causes dust
The machine leale traces of dirt on
the floor
The explosion engine is not
performing correctly
The battery-powered sweeper is
not performing correctly; it is slow
and is not cleaning well

CAUSES
Lever in position to stop suction
Filter clogged
Filter damaged
Filter badly installed
Side dust flaps damaged
Continuous use of the side broom
The main broom is not correctly
adjusted or is worn
You have collected wires, cables, etc.
Side flaps damaged
The collection bin is full
Engine air filter is dirty
Carburation wrong
Flat battery or not fully charged
The recommended battery charger
has not been used

REMEDIES
Push the knob to open the suction
Clean it by shaking it with the filter-
shaker and if necessary remove and
clean it thoroughtly
Replace it
Make sure it is correctly inserted
Replace it
Use the side broom only for edges,
borders and corners
Check the main broom and "track" it
Remove them
Replace it
Empty it
Clean or replace it
Recarburate
Check the lever of the electrolyte and
carry out a new complete battery
charging cycle
Use an appropriate battery charger
