Plug the plug into the socket.

You now have the choice between soft-,
medium- and hard-boiled eggs.
Degree of hardness setting
When boiling in a saucepan, a lower boiling
time can often be expected compared to
our egg boiler. This is due to the smaller
performance of the boiler compared to a
household hot plate.
·
You can determine the degree of hardness of
the eggs via the rotary knob.
·
We
thereby
different
ranges: Soft (soft), medium (medium) and hard
(hard).
·
The setting of the degree of hardness depends
on the size, weight and number of the eggs.
Interesting facts regarding egg sizes:
Quality and weight class division (EU):
- S = less than 53 g
- M = 53 g to 63 g
- L = 63 g to 73 g
- XL = more than 73 g
The electronics of the Cloer egg boiler 6070
is adjusted to eggs with sizes M and L. With
deviating egg sizes (S, XL), the settings should
be adjusted slightly downward (S)
or slightly upward (XL).*
*We have carried out tests with commercially available eggs of the size
M and L from the refrigerator. What the perfect breakfast egg looks
like is a science in itself and we can only give you tips along the way.
Settings can deviate from our recommendations if necessary. After a
get the hang of it and create the desired
result according to your taste.

The following illustration shall give you a small
assistance for the setting of your egg boiler.

Pull out the power plug.
Remove the lid carefully.
·
Always open the lid away from the body, in
order to avoid scalds. For this, grip the black
handle at the lid.
·
Condensation water forms on the inner side of
the lid, this can still be very hot under certain
circumstances. Risk of scalding!
·
Also remove the egg tray with the handle and
put the eggs into cold water. You will avoid
subsequent cooking when putting them into
cold water.
·
If you are not happy with the degree of hardness,
rotate the rotary knob further to the right next
time to get eggs that are more hard-boiled or to
the left to get eggs that are more runny.
ATTENTION!
Hot steam can escape
when removing the lid!
