2. Installation Instructions

The stove is made for easy connection by means of a connecting the piece to an existing house chimney. The connector must be
as short and straight as possible, positioned horizontally or with a slight gradient. The connectors must be sealed.
National and European standards, local, building and fire safety regulations must be observed when installing and using the stove.
A good amount of combustion air must be provided for the wood burning stoveto function properly, especially in rooms with
tightly closed windows and doors (sealing damper). A suitable chimney (minimal cross-section, chimney draught, tightness, etc.) is
a prerequisite for the properfunctioning of the wood burning stove. Chimney calculation is carried out according to ČSN 73 4201
or you can alternately consult your chimney sweeper before placing the wood burning stove.
draught is 12 Pa. The draught
minimum recommended length of the chimney is 3.5 m from the point where the flue pipe connects to the chimney and the
suitable minimum cross section is 150 x 150 cm. Too much chimney draught can be a source of problems during operation, for
example, too high combustion, high fuel consumption and it can also lead to the permanent damage of the wood burning stove.
In this case, we recommend a chimney draught regulator.
The stove must be connected to a separate chimney. It is not permissible to divert flue gas of other devices into this chimney.
Before placing the stove, make sure that the element on which the stove is to be placed has sufficient load bearing capacity for
the weight of the stove. In the event of insufficient load bearing capacity, appropriate measures (e.g. laying a load distribution
board) must be taken.
When installing on a flammable floor, it is necessary to place the appliance on a non-flammable insulating pad that exceeds the
ground dimensions of the appliance by 800 mm in the direction of radiation and 400 mm to the remaining sides.
The minimum distances from flammable materials (furniture, wallpapers, wood facing) are indicated on the label (sides 200 mm,
rear 400 mm, radiation direction 1100 mm). In case of highly flammable materials (asphalt paper, polystyrene, wood-fibre
boards...), keep the min. distance (sides 600 mm, rear 600 mm, radiation direction 1600 mm).
