Extractor hood
does not function
Poor airflow
Hood suction is not
effective

Problem Possible Cause
No electrical supply
Grease filters clogged
with grease build-up
Charcoal filters clogged
with grease build-up
Inadequate ventilation
Charcoal filters are not
installed
Poor exhaust
Foreign object may be in
contact with fan blade
Light bars are blown out
Light bar connection are
loose
Solution
Check that plug is
connected and main
power switch is turned on
Clean the grease filters
and refit when dry
Replace charcoal filters
with new sets
Ensure that the kitchen is
sufficiently ventilated to
allow entry of fresh air
Install charcoal filters for
setting in recirculation
mode
