26. When blending heavy and hard goods, the appliance should not be blending for
more than 15 seconds without interruption. The motor should then cool down
for 1 minute before you start it again.
27. Should foods clump around the attachment, stop the blender by releasing the
ON button. Once motor and attachment have come to a complete standstill, pull
the plug and take the blender shaft from the blending jar. Use a plastic spatula
to scrape off the foods around the attachment resp. stir before continuing to
blend. Never remove the foods with your fingers – the blades are extremely
sharp!
28. During operation, always keep hands, fingers, hair, clothes, jewellery or kitchen
tools like scoops away from the blender and the jar. Only after the motor and
attachment have come to a complete standstill and the plug has been pulled,
you can use a kitchen tool in the jar. Disregarding these instructions can lead to
injury or damage the blender.
29. Always be very careful when handling the blender shaft – the blades are ex-
tremely sharp! Be especially careful when removing the blender shaft from the
jar or when changing attachments. Improper or careless handling of the at-
tachments can lead to injury!
30. Never lift the blender shaft from the jar as long as the appliance is switched on
and the attachments are rotating.
31. Use the Solis X-Change Mixer only for preparing foods and/or beverages.
32. Never operate the appliance without foods or liquids in the jar.
33. Keep the appliance clean. Please refer to the notes given in the „Maintenance
and Cleaning" chapter of this manual.
34. Neither the shredding cup nor the provided blending jar are microwaveable. Do
not submerge the motor unit and the outer cover of the shredding cup (11) in
water and generally do not clean any part in the dish washer.
35. When using the shredding cup, always place the blade in the shredding cup first.
Then, fill the cup with foods, close it firmly with both covers and mount the mo-
tor unit. Only use the appliance when the outer cover (11) is firmly shut.
