To transport the orbital floor machine, please be sure to follow the procedure shown below to avoid damage to the machine,
property or injury.
1. Be sure that the machine is unplugged from a power source and the cord is wrapped on the handle as shown below.
2. Always leave a pad on the pad grip face to protect it from damage during transport and during storage.
3. To prepare the machine for transport, adjust the handle position to the transport position by pulling up on the handle
adjustment lever and pushing the handle as far forward as it can go, placing the handle locking mechanism at the base of
the handle tube in the notch closest to the motor.
4. Tilt machine back on the wheels and transport it as close to the lifting loaction as possible.
5. If you must pick up the unit, please practice all lifting safety precautions and use a two person team. If the machine is
equipped with the weight kit, please remove the weights by loosening the two (2) turn knobs until you are able to remove
the bolts they are connected to from the machine. Slide one weight off at a time (two (2) weight plates are on the 20-inch
orbital and three (3) weight plates are on the 28-inch orbital)
WARNING: TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY, PLEASE ONLY LIFT UNIT AFTER REMOVING WEIGHTS AND ONLY
WHEN USING A TWO PERSON LIFT
6. With one person on each side of the machine, tilt the machine backward and while keeping back straight and knees
bent, each person should place one hand on the base of the handle tube and one hand under the pad driver towards on
the front Corner of their side and lift the machine.
7. Secure the machine with straps during transport in a vehicle or trailer to prevent damage.
