o It shall be ensured that the appliance has no visible
signs of damage before installation.
o The electrical safety of this dryer is only guaranteed
when the device is connected to a fully functional
protective bonding. It is very important that these
basic safety requirements are fulfilled and, when in
doubt, checked by a specialist. No warranty shall
be granted for damages caused by a missing or in-
terrupted earth conductor.
o The socket must be compatible with the dryer's
plug.
o After installation, access to the mains plug or to dis-
connection from mains supply by a double-pole
switch must be ensured at all times, to make sure
the dryer can be separated immediately from the
mains supply in case of an emergency.
o The dryer shall be installed far from gas ranges,
stoves, radiators or hobs, as flames may damage it.
If the dryer is installed below a worktop, it shall be
ensured there are 10 mm between the upper panel
of the dryer and any objects above it, and 15 mm
between the sides of the machine and the walls or
furniture units adjacent to it, for adequate air cir-
culation.
