Product description

CA-RM ES and CA-RM RF ES (hereinafter referred to as 'the device') are duct fans specifically designed for
the mitigation of radon gas concentrations in buildings.
Models
- CA-RM 100 ES, CA-RM 125 ES, CA-RM 150 ES, CA-RM 160 ES, CA-RM 200 ES: duct versions, with IP47
protection rating, suitable for installation in underground manholes subject to flooding;
to guarantee the degree of protection IP47 it is necessary to use the
accessory kits KIT FSG + connectors listed in the Accessories table,
with reference to models 20210 - 20211 - 20212 - 20213 - 20214;
- CA-RM 150 RF ES, CA-RM 160 RF ES, CA-RM 200 RF ES: roof-mounted versions, with IP45 protection
rating.
The motor fans that equip all models are EC type to guarantee low consumption, compatible with continuous
operation.
All models are without electrical connection boxes. The power and signal cables come out directly from the
enclosures through suitable devices to ensure the necessary water resistance. The connections to the electrical
mains are made inside a special control unit, VORT SICURBOX, separate from the product, (optional: see
ACCESSORIES Table) which houses the systems for monitoring correct operation of the device (see fig.7 for
details on the control unit). The perfect sealing of the enclosures and connections to the extraction and supply
piping prevents the risk of radioactive gas diffusion.
A flow switch (optional: see ACCESSORIES Table), only associable for SICURBOX, placed inside a section of
pipe, placed on the axis of the duct (not inside the manhole), allows monitoring of any possible presence of
obstructions, which could be the cause of inadequate ventilation.
Two rubber couplings on the supply and suction lines (optional: see ACCESSORIES Table) ensure perfect
watertightness of the connection between the device and the piping.
A siren (optional: code see ACCESSORIES Table), installed remotely, allows the system to signal malfunctions,
such as lack of flow inside the piping (if the flow switch is present) and a motor stop.
