For work in closed containers or in confined
spaces or when there is an increased electrical
hazard, only devices with the

During breaks the appliance should be switched
off and the valve of the gas cylinder should be
closed.
Use the safety chain to secure the gas cylinder
against falling over.
Remove the gas cylinder before transport.
Pull the mains plug before moving the appliance
or performing work on the appliance.

Proper use

The machine is designed to weld steel, aluminium
and alloys both in commercial and industrial
environments.
The user is liable for damage resulting
from improper use.

Appliance protection

The appliance is electronically protected against
overload. Do not, however, actuate the main switch
with the device under load.
The device is cooled by a fan.
Therefore ensure that the air inlet [9] is free at all
times.
Do not insert any objects through the ventilation
slots. They could damage the fan. Never weld
with a defective fan; have the device repaired
immediately.
Never use stronger fuses than the fuse rating
indicated on the type plate of the device. Transport
the device in a horizontal position attached to the
carrying strap.
Cyclic duration factor (CDF)
The cyclic duration factor (CDF) is calculated based
on a working cycle of 10 minutes. A CDF of 60%
thus corresponds to a welding time of 6 minutes.

checked in accordance with directive EN 60974-4

of use. Würth recommends having the appliance
checked every 12 months.
Additional safety checks have to be performed after
modifying or repairing the appliance.
To mark the appliance, do not drill holes
into the casing and do not attach rivets. Use
stickers.
Never open the machine shortly after operation
with a mains power supply. Hot parts and
capacitors still charged with high voltages are
a source of danger.
Do not insert any objects through the ventilation
grille. You could suffer a fatal electric shock.
Only use genuine Würth accessories
and spare parts.
