Quick-start guide
Set up the shielding gas cylinder [30] near the
machine and secure it to prevent it from falling
over.
Remove the screw cap from the shielding gas
cylinder and open the shielding gas valve [29]
briefly to blow out any dirt.
Connect the pressure reducer [33] to the
shielding gas cylinder.
Connect the shielding gas hose [34] of the
machine to the pressure reducer and open the
shielding gas cylinder valve.
Connect the workpiece lead to the socket [3].
Connect the TIG welding torch lead to the
socket [4].
Insert the control plug of the TIG torch into the
socket [19].
Insert the mains plug into the plug socket.
Turn on the system at the main switch [6].
Switch on the welding method 2-cycle TIG with
button [20].
Set the desired welding current at rotary con-
troller [13].
The system is ready for welding.
Connect the workpiece lead (Fig. II)
When selecting the workplace, ensure that the
workpiece lead and ground clamp can be cor-
rectly connected.
The ground clamp must have good electrically
conductive contact with a bare metal part of the
welding bench or workpiece. It must be located
in the immediate vicinity of the welding point
so that the welding current cannot find its own
way back via machine parts, ball bearings or
electrical circuits.
Do not connect the ground clamp to the welding
machine or gas cylinder as otherwise the weld-
ing current will run through the PE conductor
connections and destroy them.
Never leave the workpiece connection loose.
Fasten the ground clamp securely to the welding
bench or workpiece.

Connecting to the mains supply

Plug the plug into a suitable socket.
The fuse must conform with the
technical specifications.
Start-up
Before switching on, ensure that the electrode or
electrode holder is not in contact with the welding
bench, workpiece or other electrically conductive
object so that an arc is not drawn unintentionally
when switching on.

Important

An unintentionally drawn arc can
damage the electrode holder, welding
bench, workpiece or device.
Operating elements, displays
and functions (Fig. III)
Fault LED [8]
Steady light if the system overheats, flashes in the
event of a fault; drawing of the arc not possible.
When the machine is switched on, the LED flashes
briefly as a self-test.
Remote control LED [11]
Lights up when a remote control is actuated. As soon
as a remote control is connected to remote control
socket [5] , the remote control determines the weld-
ing current.
The rotary knob [13] sets the maximum value for
the adjustment range of the remote control. If it is set
e.g. to 100 A, 5 A -100 A can be called up with the
remote control.
Mains [12]
Lights up when the machine is ready for operation.
Welding current rotary knob [13]
For stepless adjustment of the welding current.
Electrode LED [14]
Lights up when the "Electrode" welding method is
activated.
