8. TO LINK WITH THE INTERNET
(Weather Underground)
All passwords and ID codes mentioned and shown in this chapter are
examples and for illustrative purposes only.

8.1 Introduction:

You may upload the measurements of this weather station to the website
of Weather Underground (Wunderground). This date is then combined
with the measurements of other weather stations in the neighbourhood,
creating a very accurate weather reflection. Your measurements will also
be stored by Wunderground, you can then use your personal account to
show the data on the screen of your computer or smartphone in a diagram
or graph form.

8.2 To register your weather station:

Follow the steps below to register the weather station on Wunder-
ground:
1. make sure that the
power adaptor of the
indoor unit is connect-
ed and that the adaptor
is inserted into a 230V
wall socket
2. go to the site www.wunderground.com, create a new personal account
(you can make up
any user name and
password, but the email
address must really be
yours) and then select
'Basic-Free' for a free
membership
3. click 'Register Your PWS', click 'Send Validation Email' and wait for
this email (this may
take several minutes);
this email contains
the 'station-ID' and a
personal password
assigned to you by
Wunderground.
4. now input the location of your weather sta-
tion as accurate as possible
5. simultaneously press and hold the RAIN
and ALARM buttons on the indoor unit for
4 seconds; the WiFi icon
quickly and the indoor unit starts searching
for the nearest WiFi router; as soon as it is
located, the symbol remains lit
6. use your smartphone or tablet to download the app 'WS Tool' and
launch this app

8. now tap 1x the data of the weather station
on the smartphone and enter the 'Station-ID'
and the personal password obtained from
Wunderground in the following screen, then
press Save.

7. after several seconds the data of the
weather station appears on the smart-
phone; in case the data doesn't appear
on the smartphone, the smartphone is
likely connected to a different router or
WiFi access point; for a correct registra-
tion the smartphone must be connected
to the same WiFi router as the weather
station
