4. Use and operation
The Simco-Ion BlowION is used to neutralize electrostatically charged products and/or surfaces
up to a distance of 1 m.
The BlowION consists of a series of fans in an aluminium casing with an anti-static bar fitted on
the outflow opening. The blower produces an air flow that is rich in positive and negative ions.
When this air flow is pointed to an electrostatically charged product / surface, ions will be
exchanged. This causes the product/material to be neutralized.
The BlowION can be supplied with an optional air inlet filter and fan speed control. The air flow
strength is adjustable. The BlowION can be supplied with an air inlet filter.
