USER'S MANUAL FOR AEROSTAT BlowION

1. Introduction

Read through the whole manual before you install and commission the product.
Follow the instructions set out in this manual to ensure proper operation of the product and to
be able to invoke the guarantee.
The provisions regarding the guarantee are included in Simco-Ion Europe's General Terms and
Conditions of Sale.

Explanation of the symbols used on the BlowION and in this manual:

3. Safety

 The Simco-Ion BlowION is only intended for neutralizing electrostatically charged parts
and/or surfaces.
 Do not use the BlowION in fire and/or explosion-hazardous environments.
 Electrical installation and repairs must be carried out by a skilled electrical engineer.
 Make sure that the equipment is properly earthed.
Earthing is required to ensure proper operation and to prevent electrical shocks upon contact.
 The BlowION does not contain an on/off switch. The IEC euro connector acts as a circuit
breaker during service and maintenance.
 If any modifications, adjustments, etc. have been made without prior written consent, or if
non-original parts have been used for repairs, CE approval for the equipment will be
withdrawn and the equipment will no longer be under guarantee.
