MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
C 2 Sidearms
D 6 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D)
E 2 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D)
F 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 40mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Remove bumper, 6 Torq head screws in each wheel arch, 1 Torq head screw in each lower corner of bumper, 4 screws
along lower edge of bumper and 2 screws under each light cluster. (Note: Light cluster is held on by 2 screws under
plastic trim and slides off sidewards)
2. Remove crash beam and hand to end user for refitment when bar is removed.
3. Insert sidearms (C&D) into chassis rails and loosely attach using fixings (D).
4. Attach main bar (A) using remaining fixings (D) and (E). (Fully Tighten all Bolts)
5. Cut bumper as shown and refit. (Note: It is advisable to protect outer face of bumper whilst refitting).
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
