MATERIALS
A 1 Tubular Cross Bar with European Facing to 94/20/EC – A50-1
B 1 Coupling Packer
C 2 Side Mounting Plates (1 off each hand)
D 4 M12 x 60mm x 1.5mm Bolts and Lock Washers
E 2 M12 x 60mm x 1.5mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Large Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
F 4 M12 x 30mm x 1.75mm Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers
Z 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
FITTING
1. Lower the spare wheel to improve access and remove the two bolts in the frame holding the bumper arms each
side. Loosely attach the Mounting Plates (C) with Bolts (D) and (E) using the flat washers outside the frame at
the front. Take care not to trap any wiring.
2. Attach Cross Bar (A) to the side mounts with Bolts (F) and Finally tighten all bolts. Replace spare wheel.
This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z1) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
