Foot-C User Manual Rev. 2
The Foot-C can be externally controlled by a MIDI signal through the MIDI in port on the
rear panel. This will work at any time, as long as there is a MIDI input.
To select the MIDI receiving channel:
1.
Press and hold <DELETE> for three seconds. The indicator next to <DELETE> will
light up.
2.
Release <DELETE>. The display will have changed to show the MIDI receiving
channel.
3.
Use <UP> and <DOWN> to select a MIDI receiving channel 1–16.
4.
Press and hold <DELETE> for three seconds. The indicator next to <DELETE> will
turn off.
5.
Release <DELETE>. The display will have returned to normal.
·
The controller will only respond to MIDI commands on the selected MIDI
channel when SPEEd is set to 0.
·
Perform all MIDI control using NOTE_ON or PROGRAM CHANGE commands.
All other MIDI instructions are ignored.
·
To stop a chase, send the BLACKOUT ON note.
