Processing and Amplification
The Proteus LIVE has a signal processing and amplification chain that optimises control
of the system's two ways:
HI: processing + 50 Watt amplifier
LOW: processing + 200 Watt amplifier

The processing chain comprises an initial section for general
signal processing, with pass-band filter, high frequency
equalisation corrector and level compressor/limiter;
the chain is completed by a specific section for each way,
with crossover pass-band filters.
It operates automatically on principles chosen to assure
the best reproduction conditions.
2 separate amplifiers deliver optimised power output for
each way, assuring ample support for the components'
wide dynamic excursions and ensuring a perfectly
intelligible signal.
The section is completed by a series of protective devices
that safeguard the components and protect against
temperature and electrical hazards.
