Located on the rear of the device, the control and connector panel is user-friendly and
versatile in its connection options. The panel is recessed to protect the trimmers and
other components even during transport
1. ON: Green LED. Indicates the device's power supply status (on/off).
2. SIGNAL / COMP:
Red LED.
Indicates the presence
of a signal and tripping
of the level compressor.
When
the
flashing, the device is
receiving an input signal.
When the LED is on
(steady light) the signal
has exceeded the safety
threshold, so the level
compressor (the automatic
device that guarantees
the maintenance of a
strong signal, but without
distortion) has been
tripped.
N.B.: If the LED is persistently on
with a steady light, the signal level
is too high. The system will still
ensure that the signal is
reproduced correctly; however, in
these circumstances it is best to
reduce the input signal level (Mic
Level and Line Level trimmers)
and if necessary also reduce the
level of the source signal (mixer,
etc.).
3. Hi-DEFINITION: Controls the definition of the high frequencies.
In practice, it allows the sound's brilliance to be varied by enhancing or
attenuating the audio frequencies at the high end of the range.
The values available are: ±15dB @ 10kHz
4. LINE LEVEL: level control of the "Line In" line input.
5. MIC LEVEL: level control of the "Mic In" microphone input.
