Manual Dosing for a specific head is available from the Head Setup page. If you are planning to manually
dose a number of supplements at the same time use: Dashboard > 3-dots menu > Manual dosing.
Note 1: The "Delay between heads" is also applied to manual doses. If one of the heads of the ReefDose is
currently dosing when you enter a manual dose, it will be added to the Dynamic Dosing Queue and
will be dosed after the current dose is completed, and after the delay time between the heads.
Note 2: Once a manual dose has been confirmed it cannot be deleted from the queue.
Supplement Volume Monitor
The "Supplement Volume Monitor" automatically deducts the amount of supplement dosed (scheduled
and manual) from the last updated volume of supplement in the container. The ReefBeat will present the
number of days of supplement left in the container based on the current scheduled daily dose. The Monitor
automatically turns off the schedule if there is not enough supplement to perform the next dose, and therefore
if you do not plan on maintaining this feature it is best to switch it off.
By default, the Supplement Volume Monitor will notify you three days before your supplement runs out. if you
wish to set a different number of days for this notification, go to: Dashboard > 3-dots menu > Device settings
The supplement volume for a specific head can be updated from the head setting page. If you are updating a
number of supplements at the same time use: Dashboard > 3-dots menu > Supplement Volume
Missed dose compensation
Automated doses may miss their scheduled times due to external circumstances such as a power outage,
or due to the schedule being turned off for a period of time, for example; by activating the ReefBeat Quick
actions "Feed button". Enabling the "Missed dose compensation feature" will reschedule all of the doses
that were missed during the day (since previous midnight) to be given as soon as the ReefDose is back in
its normal operation mode. Any missed doses not given before midnight of the day it was missed will be
cancelled. After midnight, ReefBeat will present a pop-up letting you know if any missed doses were not
given from the previous day. If you have selected to receive the Missed Dose notification and ReefBeat was
not opened before 12:00, you will receive a notification.
If you disable this feature, doses that were not given at the exact time (allowing for the delay between
heads) will not be rescheduled and no notifications will be sent.
The missed dose feature can be enabled for each head individually.
