- Page 11 The Sentinel Hub should now appear in the Peripherals list. You can tap on IO 1 and IO 2 to configure them as inputs or outputs. By default, IO 1 and IO 2 ports are configured as input. IMPORTANT! An IO, wired as an input, should never be configured as an output! By doing so, you can short circuit input voltage on the IO terminal to the ground.
