MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
B 1 Left Side arm
C 1 Right Side arm
D 2 Large Spreader Plate
E 4 Small Spreader Plate
F 4 M10 x 35 x 1.25mm Fine Pitch Bolts and Lock Washers
G 4 M12 x 120 x 1.75mm Bolts, Nyloc Nuts and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
H 6 M12 x 35mm Bolts, Nyloc Nuts and 12 Flat Washers (30mm O.D)
CP 1 Coupling Packer – for use on lower set of coupling holes
CB 2 M16 x 50 x 2.0 Bolts, Nuts and Lock Washers.
Z 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
Z3 1 Towball cover (not shown)
FITTING
Remove spare wheel, remove rear silencer and remove rear heat shield. Remove lashing eye bolted to the right hand

chassis rail and discard.
2. Unclip Fog lamp wiring from bumper crash beam and cut out 7 connecting plates as shown in photograph below (Large
tin snips). Treat areas of bare metal to prevent rust.

Insert Cross Bar (A) inside crash beam and support in place. Loosely attach sidearms (B) & (C) to vehicle chassis
using fixing (F) and (G) with spreader plates (D) and (E) fitted as shown below.
4. Attach Cross Bar (A) to sidearms (B) & (C) using fixings (H). Fully tighten all bolts.
Cut exhaust heat shield as shown below to clear towbar side arms and re-fit. Re-fit exhaust (Note: It is recommended

that the exhaust gaskets are replaced). Re-fit spare wheel.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
Remove the 7 connecting
plates by cutting at points
shown. (flush with top and
bottom faces of beam)
