Maintenance
• Regularly brush the electrodes with a metal brush to remove the decomposed graphite layer.
• Keep the contact surfaces between the arms and the electrodes clean to help current
conduction. The presence of corrosion or dust between the electrodes and the support hinders
satisfactory circulation of the electrical current.
Diagnostics and repairs
The electrodes do not heat:
Diagnostics
• presence of dust between the
electrode supports and the arms of
the electrical brazer
• Overheating of the transformer:
The brazing time increases:
Diagnostics
• The electrode/tube contact is poor
• The electrodes are fouled
• The electrodes are worn
Sparks are produced when contact is made between the arms
or the electrode supports by a conducting material
Diagnostics
• The machine is short-circuited.
Guarantees
The transformer is guaranteed for 2 years. The electrodes, the electrode supports and the screw
fittings are not guaranteed.

Solving the problem
− Remove the electrode supports.
− Brush the surface of the supports and of the arms
with a metal brush to remove deposits.
− Fix the supports back on the arms.
− Wait until the transformer has returned to normal
operating temperature. It will start to operate again
automatically.
Solving the problem
− Change the positions of the electrodes.
− Clean them with a metal brush.
− Replace the electrodes.
Solving the problem
− Break the contact The machine starts to operate
again after 10s.
− If the machine no longer operates, wait until the
transformer has regained its normal operating
temperature. It will start to operate again
automatically.
