13. Position backplate B into the chassis.
14. Position bolt, backplate I and plainwasher in the boot.
15. Position the spacer tubes over the bolts.
16. Position the member section.
17. Fit the member section hand-tight at points A, E and L on the chassis
beams.
18. Position the support F and attach them at points G and H, then fit the
whole thing without fully tightening.
19. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
20. Fit the bumper.
21. Replace the items removed in step 1 and 8.
22. Fit the ball hitch, including socket plate.
23. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.

NOTE:
* Should this installation process entail the cutting of the bumper –
conformation MUST be obtained by the installation engineer of
the customer's acceptance prior to completion. Brink Towing
Systems do not accept responsibility for any matters arising as a
result of this miscommunication.
* All measurements are in mm!
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s)
"of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball hitch
pressure of your vehicle.
* Do not drill through electrical-, brake- or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle documents after
fitting the towbar.
* Brink is not liable for damage caused directly or indirectly by incorrect
assembly, including the use of unsuitable tools, the use of other assembly
methods and means than the ones outlined, and the incorrect interpreta-
tion of these assembly instructions.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG:
Vor Beginn des Einbaus ist anhand der Typplakette der Anhänge -
kupplung festzustellen welches Bild in der Einbauanleitung maß-
gebend ist.
1. Die Stoßstange abmontieren. Siehe Abbildung 1.
2. Gemäß Abb. 2 die angegebenen Teile abschneiden.
3. Links die Halterung entfernen und die Schmutzfänger abmontieren.
Siehe Abbildung 3.
4. Gemäß Abb. 3 das angegebene Teil herausschneiden.
5. Die Schmutzfänger in den Radkästen befestigen.
6. Den Auspuff aus den hintersten Gummiaufhängungen nehmen.
7. Den Fußboden im Kofferraum frei machen.
8. Die rechte Seitenwand lösen.
9. Das Löch A auf 19 mm vergrößern. Siehe Abbildung 4.
10. Die Gegenplatte K und Distanzhülse über den Schraube anlegen und
das Ganze in die soeben gebohrte Löch einsetzen.
11. Die Löcher L und etwa ø 6,5 mm durch die Rückwand bohren.
12. Das Ganze halbfest montieren (siehe Skizze).
13. Die Gegenplatte B im Langsträger anlegen.
14. Das bolz, die Gegenplatten I und Unterlegscheibe im Kofferraum anle-
gen.
15. Die Distanzhülse über die Schraube schieben.
16. Den Querbalken anbringen.
17. Den Querbalken bei den Punkten A, E und L halbfest an den Fahr -
gestell träger montieren.
18. Die Halterung F anlegen und bei den Punkten G und H befestigen. Alles
halbfest montieren.
19. Alle Schrauben und Muttern gemäß den Angaben in der Abbildung fest-
drehen.
20. Die Stoßstange montieren.
21. Das unter Abschnitt 1 und 8 Entfernte wieder anbringen.
