Before fi rst use
PLEASE NOTE!
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Make sure that the product contents are complete (see chapter "Product contents")
and check for any damages from transport. If you identify damages to the
components, do not use them (!), instead contact our customer service centre.
2. Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
3. Charge the rechargeable battery (8) (see chapter "Charging the rechargeable
battery").
4. Attach the wall bracket (10) (see the "Attaching the Wall Bracket" chapter).

Charging the rechargeable battery

PLEASE NOTE!
The battery should only be charged using the charging station that is also supplied.
Do not use the charging station to charge up other batteries.
It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the de-
vice in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. If the battery is fully
discharged during use, it must be fully charged up again before it is next used.

6. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the
barrel connector from the charging station.
7. Remove the battery from the charging station.
1. Switch off the device and remove the battery (7) as fol-
lows: Press the release button on the battery (see picture)
and pull the battery out of the device at the same time.
2. Insert the battery into the charging station (7). The three
contacts of the battery must rest on the three contacts (21)
of the charging station.
3. First plug the barrel connector on the cable of the mains
adapter (5) into the socket (23) of the charging station and
then connect the mains adapter to the plug socket.

4. The green operating lamp (22) and the red charge control

lamp (24) will light up. The battery is being charged.
5. When only the green operating lamp is still lit, the battery

is fully charged.
