MACHINE OPERATION AND USE

PURA PLUS™ IS INTENDED ONLY FOR FEEDING TECNO-GAZ AUTOCLAVES WITH
PROVISION FOR THIS.
ONCE INSTALLED, THE WATER CLEAN WILL START OPERATING ONLY WHEN THE
AUTOCLAVE CALLS FOR WATER.
USE FOR OTHER PURPOSES IS NOT COVERED BY THE GUARANTEE; TECNO-GAZ WILL
NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGE.
The PURA PLUS™ is comprised of the following:
 A solenoid valve operated by the autoclave, which open and closed the flow of
water upstream of a set of two filters that precede the core of the system, i.e.
the osmotic membrane which is installed in its own specific container
 At the out feed of this, there are two water flows: the permeate, which
consists of already highly demineralised water (salt removal >95%), and the
concentrate, which is then conveyed to the drain.
 Following the line of the permeate, a resin cartridge further demineralises the
water which flows through it, neutralizing the residual salts.
 Two lever ball valves allow water to be flushed through the filters,
independently of autoclave operation, in order to wash them during
replacement of the same.
When the autoclave calls for water, the solenoid valve opens and the water flows
into the autoclave tank.
When the maximum level has been reached in the tank, the autoclave stops its
request for water and the whole system switches off.
OPERATING TEST
To check that the device works, after finishing the installation operations, switch on
at the autoclave master switch and activate the program for water loading from the
PURA PLUS™ (see instructions given in the autoclave manual).
If the led that indicates the max level of water in the autoclave tank is off, the PURA
PLUS™ will call for water. When the max level is reached, the related led of the
autoclave comes on, delivery of water stops and the green led of the PURA PLUS™
goes out. If the autoclave tank is at the max level, the water must be drained out by
opening the tap at the back of the machine in order to check the operation of the
PURA PLUS™.
When the max level led of the autoclave goes out, delivery of water from the PURA
PLUS™ starts and the green led comes on. Delivery of water from the PURA PLUS™
continues until the max level is reached.
