Position sketch:
The carrying capacity of the substructure needs to be checked
before installing the anchor device.
The technical building regulations need to be complied with.
The anchor device may only be installed on substructures which
have been assembled in compliance with the manufacturer's
specifications.
If
the
safety
system
construction needs to be subjected to a thorough structural
and/or static review. The device may not be subjected to
modifications and only original parts of the system may be used.
Installing the roof safety hook
1.
Align the roof safety hook and the aluminium welt
clamping strip according to the laying direction of the
double-welted standing seam sheets and position on
the welts of the double-welted standing seam sheet
from above so that the rear grip of the welt clamping
rail grips under the beading as shown in the diagrams
to the right.
2.
Pull the aluminium welt clamping strip under the
beading so that it is in tight contact with it and tighten
the fastening bolts with a torque of 50 Nm. Ensure
the welt clamping rail fits uniformly. The square of the
coach bolts must sit correctly in the notching provided
in the clamping strip.
3.
After completing the attachment work, all bolted
connections must be checked for secure fit.
4.
After finishing the installation fill in the inspection log
card included in the user instructions and issue it to the
owner!
