Maintenance, care and testing:
®
The
Rope Glider has only one moving part and is therefore low-
LUX-top
maintenance. However, it must be checked by a competent person as and when
necessary, but at least once a year, and by following precisely the instructions
of the manufacturer.
This inspection is essential, as the safety of the user depends on the
effectiveness and durability of the anchor device.
®
The LUX-top
FSE 2003 system is supplied with an inspection log card, on
which the test or inspection by the competent person must be documented.
The inspection log card must be kept in a protected place together with the
parts of the equipment that are not permanently installed!
Please note that claims for compensation will not be recognised if the
documentation is incomplete.
®
The
LUX-top
Rope Glider may not be left on the stainless steel rope for
lengthy periods (several weeks)!
Prevent contact between the anchor device and "black" steel, chemicals and
other aggressive substances!
