Operation of the temperature selector switch with thermostat:
Turn the selector switch initially to "Max." and allow the heater to operate at full power.
When the room temperature reaches the required value, turn the thermostat to the left
until it switches off (audible click).
When using the heater for the first time, you may notice a slight development of smoke.
This is quite normal and will stop after a short time. The heating element is made of steel
and has been coated with a layer of protective oil during production. The smoke is caused
by this oil being heated and is not a sign of a technical malfunction.
The fan heater is equipped with a run-down function. The fan remains active when the
device is switched off, or it switches back on again after a brief pause to continue cooling
the heating coil.
The delay time or follow-up time depends on the ambient temperature. At an ambient
temperature of 20 °C this is approx. 3 - 4 minutes. If the ambient temperature is 27 °C,
for example, the delay time will be correspondingly longer. Observe the cooling period
before transporting the device. If it is necessary to switch off the device, the mains plug
must be removed from the electric socket.
Adjustment:
The angle of the air outlet can be adjusted by up to 20 degrees upwards: To do this,
loosen the two adjusting screws slightly, adjust the heater housing to the desired position
and then retighten the adjusting screws.
