Inspection and cleaning of the tank to collect the water and
the floating filter
ATTENTION
Do not use oxidizing agents added to the water, as they can
create problems to paper, or generally try to use a very small
amount (up to 1 ppm) in case of long-term treatment or (max. 5
ppm) in case of single treatment.
With variable frequency, depending on the installation location
(Termotecnica Pericoli recommends frequencies of 15 days)
thorough cleaning of the water tank to remove
debris that may compromise the correct operation of the cooler
is required.
ATTENTION
Before any cleaning operation, make sure that the machine is
disconnected from the electricity supply.
In order to obtain proper and thorough cleaning it is necessary:
1. to remove one group of PERIcool
the water tank (see figures on page 11 and 12)
2. to disconnect the hose from the upper network of the tubes (see
figure below) and to direct it to the outside of the machine to a
point where the water can be drained;

3. to completely empty the tank, it is necessary:
- To turn off the water supply to the machine
- To block the protection (minimum water level) by fixing the
pump float as shown in the picture;
4. by using the CXF-PC31 panel, exclude the thermostat and the
humidity indicator, turn the electric panel switch to ON, press
and hold the button until the tank is empty. Once the tank has
been emptied rotate the switch to OFF;
In the absence of the electric panel CXF-PC31 empty the tank
simply by using the pump.
ATTENTION
Since the pump group protection system has been inhibited
(point 3), to avoid any damage it is important to stop the pump as
soon as the tank is empty
5. carefully clean the tank with running water and a brush;
6. rinse and repeat point 4 to drain the water used for cleaning
7. perform cleaning of the filter (see the sequence)

8. re-start the access of the environment thermostat and f the
humidity indicator as well as the pump protection system
inhibited at point 3
9. re-connect the hose
10.re-install the removed panel group
ATTENTION
The tank contains delicate electrical and hydraulic components
which must not be hit or damaged.
Cleaning the filter
It is necessary to weekly perform a thorough cleaning of the filter.
After removing one of the three chassis supporting the evaporation
panels (see figure on page 11) the filter that is mounted directly
above the pump (see Figure C on page 10) can be removed.
Once the cleaning (see the sequence "inspection and cleaning
of water collection tank and floating filter" on page 17 paragraph 7)
is finshed, re-assemble the components by following the manual
in reverse order.
