1.1 INTRODUCTION TO THE MANUAL

The Instructions Manual is the formative reference document
developed by the Manufacturer and is addressed to specialized
technical operators who
throughout its life cycle.
Its purpose is to provide information for the proper use of the
equipment, from installation to removal, highlighting the dangers
that can arise from the incorrect use.
To get the best installation one should follow thoroughly
all instructions given in this Manual, especially avoiding the
occurrence of technical problems and the exposure of operators
to health risks.

1.2 SAFETY NOTICE

Within the Instructions Manual the following symbols are used
to indicate the presence of hazards and to alert the reader to
important information:

This compartment contains important notes to be highlighted.
ATTENTION
Indicates a caution on the application of security practices or
draws attention to practices that are not safe and could cause
personal injury or damage to the machine or the environment.
WARNING
Indicates the presence of danger that may cause a very serious
injury if the necessary precautionary measures are ignored.
1.3 KEEPING THE INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
The keeping of the Instructions Manual and all appended
publications is mandatory. The operators and the maintenance
workers should be able to access, and to read this document and
the annexes immediately under any circumstances.
The external side panel of the equipment has a special pocket
that contains the Instruction Manual and the relevant annexes.
NOTE
The Instruction Manual is a safety device of the equipment.
It must accompany the equipment throughout the intended
life cycle, including in case of ownership change.
The life stages of the equipment are:
1. transport and unloading;
2. installation;
3. use and operation;
4. decommissioning;
5. disconnection and disassembly.

2.1 IDENTIFICATION DATA OF THE EQUIPMENT
The product is covered by the Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery.
The CE marking indicates the conformity with the essential
safety requirements set out in the above-mentioned Directive in
the European Community.
The identification tablet with the CE marking is applied to the
metal structure, on the side panel of the equipment. It shows the
manufacturer identification data, the model, the serial number and
the year of manufacture, in addition to the technical characteristics.

2.2 INTENDED USE

PERIcooler evaporating coolers are intended for wetting and
cooling the air in the environments where they are installed. Their
high versatility allows the installation in agricultural, avian, industrial
and civil areas.
The accessories from the catalog allow their use both in
stationary positions and in situations where there the climate
needs to be controlled only a certain area.
In addition, due to the possibility to separate wetting from
ventilation they may be used as fans for forced air flow, ensuring
thus comfort conditions.
ATTENTION
It is absolutely forbidden to change or to replace any component
of the product with parts that are not original.
WARNING
Use of product without observing those mentioned in this
document will be considered improper and, therefore, will be
declared unsafe. Such use may cause unforeseen damage to
the equipment and even serious personal injury.. Any use other
than that described in this document shall be considered non-
compliant and the manufacturer does not bear any responsibility.
NOTE
TERMOTECNICA PERICOLI S.r.l. will not be responsible
in the event of damage to the equipment and/or personnel
injury caused by failure to comply with the safety prescriptions
specified in this Manual.
