• The PE drilled tube: is the ideal solution for a homogeneous
distribution of the cool air into the environment. To improve
efficiency it requires the external installation of the cooler.
The polyethylene sleeve is fixed at the mouth of the front outlet by
means of a clamp to be tightened in the channel made in the ring.
The tube must be supported by straps (supplied on request)
positioned at intervals of less than one meter, hanging from a
galvanized steel wire stretched lengthwise above the tube.
Do not place the air distribution holes in the bottom of the tubes
to prevent possible dripping of condensate (it is appropriate to
provide special holes for the discharge of condensation).
• The direct jet: a solution applied both in environments which
either require particular climate control or are particularly large.
Installation of the cooler is external. Several units can be
usedwith the only requirement that the tap holes are located
opposite of one another ensuring optimum working conditions
of the machine.
ATTENTION
The holder on which the cooler is fixed has to be sized by
adopting a suitable safety factor (chosen according to the
regulations in force in the field). For sizing, the weight of the fully
charged PERIcooler fully charged, the machine vibration and
the potential additional weight of the staff who will perform its
maintenance has to be taken into consideration.
ATTENTION
To comply with the basic safety standards, in case of installation
on the floor it is mandatory to use a safety net for the fan (the
SK kit).

6.6 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

WARNING
Connection to power grid must be performed by qualified
personnel equipped with the necessary equipment
accordance with the rules in force in the country of
installation. Before proceeding to connect to the network,
isolate the power line by opening the main switch.
• When connecting the machine , strictly follow the indications
provided in this manual.
• The installation has to be carried out in accordance with the
laws in force.
• The power supply of the cooler must always pass through a
coordinated protection with effective grounding system, allowing
direct and indirect contact protection.
• The machine can be supplied with or without the electric panel.
If it is supplied with the electrical panel, the machine has to be
fastened and the electrical connection has to be made(see
Section 6.31).
• Carefully Follow the indications on the the wiring diagram and
the screen printing identifying each clip separately
• When using the CXF-PC31 control panel it is necessary to
have a three-phase plug (type CE 16A 5-pole) to make the
connection.
• To connect the machine to the power line, use a suitable sized
power cord, depending on the installed capacity and line length,
using a 5-pin cable.
• The three-phase socket of the electric panel CXF-PC31 is
provided with a phase inverter, through this kind of socket
it is possible to switch the rotation of the fan, in case will be
necessary.

• Install an independant normal omnipolar switch sized
appropriately, depending on the load characteristics of the
machine.
• The contacts of the environment thermostat and the potentially
used humidity indicator must be connected to the terminal
block on the control panel, following the indications of the
wiring diagram the sticker applied to terminals (refer to wiring
diagram inside the control panel). If the use of a TA and HY is
not provided, the holders 3-4 and 1-2 respectively must be
shorted.
• The pulling, bending or handling of cables and connections is
not allowed under any circumstances..
• The replacement of electrical parts without the prior authorization
of the manufacturer is strictly prohibited and can result in the
loss of the warranty.
• Check that the power grid available in the installation site
provides the correct voltage and frequency.
• The panel placed on the machine near the exit hole of the
engine cable indicates the type of power supply for which the
engine was configured.
• Earth the extractor by the connection available from the engine.
When using an electrical outlet the earth contact is mandatory.
• The electrical connection between the cooler and the power
supply must be protected, at least, by a tin drawer.

6.7 FIRST START

ATTENTION
Please refer to trained technicians for all connections and to
protect yourself entrust the first start to qualified personnel,
with successive verification of equipment to ensure operation
in perfect security.
ATTENTION
Before installation, remove the protective plastic film.
Before turning on the cooler:
in
• Make sure you have followed the instructions of Sections 6.2
and 6.3.
• Make sure you have not left any object, instrument or packing
debris inside the machine.
• Make sure that the protection nets have been set correctly on
the machine.
• Make sure that staff present stays at safe distance from the
machine.
• Make sure that the machine is in a stable position, stabilized to
the ground, and in the case of the WSK kit, that the wheels are
properly blocked.
Once you have turned on the cooler:
• Check the correct installation searching for the presence of
vibrations and / or abnormal noise
• Check that the fan rotation is clockwise, looking at the fan from
the air entry; in case of wrong rotation, flip the two wires in the
power line, or if equipped with a CXF-PC31, adjust the phase
inverter supplied
