5.1
Preparations
WARNING – Electric shock hazard:

Before cleaning and changing the air filter, switch off the appliance
at the
ON/OFF switch
•
Protect the appliance from splashing and do not use a wet cloth for
cleaning.
•
Only ever dry clean the

•
Do not introduce objects into openings in the appliance. Do not use
sharp objects, e.g. a tail comb, to remove dust or foreign bodies.
Allow appliance to cool down.

5.2
Cleaning appliance
The housing is made of sturdy materials that are easy to clean. You will avoid
disco-louration if you immediately remove traces of colouring products from the
plastic.
5.2.1.
Appliance surfaces
Follow safety instructions as described in section 5.1.

Only clean appliance surfaces with a soft cloth that has been slightly

moistened in water with a little washing-up liquid added and well wrung out
beforehand.

Remove filter cover and air filter as described in section 5.3.
