Before each fault elimination:
− switch off device
− Wait for standstill of the garden shredder.
Remove the spark plug connector.
Fault

Beaters worn.
V-belt slipping.
Knife edges became blunt.
Screws, nuts or other parts loosened.

Remedy
Put choke lever to
Put throttle lever to
Put ignition switch to ON.
Put fuel valve to
Check the fuel quantity
Drain the fuel into a container outdoors. Fill the
tank with fresh and clean fuel.
Check the fuel line for kinks or damages
Place on the spark plug connector.
a) Clean or replace the spark plug.
b) Check the ignition cable.
c) Fault cannot be eliminated?
Get the manufacturer or authorised service staff
to check the ignition system.
Screw off, clean and dry the spark plug. Then pull
the cranking rope several times and reinstall the
spark plug.
Contact the manufacturer or the responsible
customer service respectively.
Replace the engine.
Contact the manufacturer or the responsible
customer service respectively.

Clean the tank cap and the vent.
Drain the fuel into a container outdoors. Fill the
tank with fresh and clean fuel.
Have the caburetor adjusted correctly.
a) Reduce material feeding.
b) Do not exceed the max. branch diameter.
Thoroughly clean inside the machine.
Turn the knife or replace it with a new set of knives.
Replace the beaters.
Tension the V-belt.
Exchange knives.
Tighten the parts.
If the parts can not be tightened or noises remain:
Contact the manufacturer or the responsible
customer service respectively
