Cause
You tried to charge the battery outside
the charging temperature range of 0°C to
40°C.
You cannot charge the battery outside
the charging temperature range of 0°C to
40°C for safety reasons. The device may
not have charged even though the outside
temperature is below 40°C. This happens
because the device heats up when the
battery is charging.
USB connection failed. This message
also appears when the mass storage
connection is not available and the USB
is connected such as during the setting
backup.
While power was being supplied over a
USB connection to an external device, a
short caused an overcurrent error.
There is not enough free memory in the
device system area.
The device can be updated only when it is
fully charged to prevent update failures.
Solution
Charge the battery in the charging
temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. If you
turn off the device when the battery is
charging, the temperature does not rise.
(Ü page 11).
Unplug the USB cable from the device,
wait for a while, and then try connecting
again.
Unplug the USB cable from this device
and restart this device. After that,
configure the charging mode setting.
Transfer the ride log data to a PC. Delete
the data in the built-in flash memory from
the PC (Ü page 24).
Charge the battery of the device. When
it is finished, the device starts updating
automatically.
