Before Initial Use
•
Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you fi nd any
damage to the components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service
department.
•
The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device and all accessories thoroughly before using them for the fi rst time
(see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Safety Devices
The device has two safety switches: The device can only be switched on if both the
mixing container has been placed on the motor unit and the lid has been placed on the
mixing container!
Use
CAUTION!
•
The device should only be switched on when it is fully and correctly assembled:
Always check whether the mixing container is seated correctly on the motor unit,
the chosen insert is placed in the mixing container correctly and whether the mixing
container is correctly shut with the lid.
•
The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the 6-blade insert in order to prevent
any cut injuries.
•
Do not leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
•
Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.
•
The device may not be moved or transported while it is switched on. Always pull the
mains plug out of the socket and allow the motor to come to a complete standstill
before you move the device.
•
Never operate the device when it is empty.
•
Do not overfi ll the containers. The mixing containers may not be fi lled any higher than
the MAX marking.
•
Never fi ll the device with hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter than 50°C.
Always allow hot food to cool down fi rst before you process it any further with the device.
•
Always also add a little liquid to the mixing container when you want to purée frozen
fruit or vegetables.
•
Always switch off the device and pull the mains plug from the plug socket before you
remove and / or attach the mixing container or change an insert.
•
It is essential that you store any prepared food in the fridge. Do not eat any food that has
gone off and only use fresh ingredients that have not yet passed the best-before date.
1. Place the motor unit on a dry, even and fi rm surface. Press the suction feet fi rmly
onto the surface.
