• Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed
or bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket:
– before you remove and/or insert the mixing container,
– before you change the stirring insert or the 6-blade insert,
– when the device is not in use,
– before a thunderstorm or
– before you clean the device.
• When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket,
always pull the plug and never the cable.
• Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure
that the motor unit, cable, or plug do not fall into water or become
wet.
• Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply
immediately.
• Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
• Never cover the device with cloths or similar objects. There is a
danger of overheating!
• Maintain a suffi cient distance from sources of heat, such as
hobs or ovens.
Damage to Property and the Device
• Always check the device for damage before putting it into
operation. The device must not be used if the device, the
connecting cable, the plug or any of the accessories show
obvious signs of damage.
• If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If the
device, the connecting cable or the plug of the device is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer ser-
vice department or a similarly qualifi ed person in order to avoid
any hazards. In the event of any damage, contact our customer
service department.
• Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly
recommended by the manufacturer. Use only original spare
parts from the manufacturer.
