LR03 batteries the right way round as indicated and
close the battery compartment 8 again.
Outdoor sensor:
Open the battery compartment cover  by sliding it
in the direction of the arrow and insert 2 AAA/LR03
batteries, making sure they are the right way round.
Close the battery compartment cover  again by
sliding it in the opposite direction.
Warning: Only use batteries of the same type and
with the same charge capacity.
SETTING UP THE OUTDOOR SENSOR
1. When putting into operation for the first time, always
switch on the main device first and after 20 seconds
switch on the remote sensors.
2. After the batteries have been inserted, the first
sensor automatically activates Channel 1 (V).
3. For the second sensor insert the batteries and
Channel 1 (V) will again be automatically activated.
Press button „CH"  in order to activate Channel 2.
4. When a sensor has been detected, the display of the

CH1CH2CH3 10-second interval
Note: When batteries have been inserted in the
main device, the atmospheric pressure indicator
(S) will flash for 20 seconds, during which you will
be able to adjust the local atmospheric pressure (if
required) with buttons „" 2 und „" 3. After
that the weather station will change to the register
mode of the remote sensors. During this period the
reception indicator (Q). flashes. If no outdoor
sensor is detected within that period, the detection
mode switches off.
Note: Place the main device and sensors at a distance
from metals and sources of interference, e.g. mobile
phones, television sets and other electrical appliances.
Note: To obtain relatively accurate temperature values
the sensor must be placed in a shady location outdoors.
AUTOMATIC TIME SETTING
Once the batteries have been inserted and the
weather station has concluded the search for the
sensors and the measuring of the local atmospheric
pressure, search for the radio-controlled clock signal
starts. The radio symbol
(I) flashes after
ca. 5 minutes.
If the signal is not received, the search can be started
manually.
1. Press the „" 3 button for more than 3 seconds, until
you hear a beep and the radio-controlled clock symbol

WEATHER FORECAST
The device forecasts weather conditions for the next
12 - 24 hours based on changes in atmospheric pres-
sure. The catchment area covers approx. 30 – 50
km. The weather forecasts have an accuracy of 70%
– 75%. Since weather conditions cannot be forecast
with 100% accuracy, we cannot be held responsible
for any losses that are caused by incorrect weather
forecasts.

Partially cloudy
Cloudy
Rain
Thunderstorm/storm
Note: In case of snowfall the symbol
(R) with the
rain weather symbol will flash in addition. This will
occur at a temperature range between -3 ºC to
+1 ºC. If the temperature falls below
ºC the
symbol will appear permanently.
Important: The device must be in operation for at
least 12 hours to record a pressure trend. The wea-
ther icons (A) are displayed on the basis of that trend.
Note: Places with various geographical situations,
e.g. inland areas, windy valleys or coastal regions,
have different weather forecasts. Your particular
weather forecast (A) may be different in such areas.
If required, the forecast can be adjusted in the section
SETTING THE TIME OF DAY, DATE AND
WEATHER.
INDICATORS FOR TEMPERATURE AND
HUMIDITY TRENDS
If the values for temperature and humidity have
changed, 4 small arrows indicate the tendency (M):
Rising, constant or falling.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Only clean the device with a soft cloth. If there is
heavy soiling, the cloth can be moistened slightly.
Never use detergents that contain solvent.
Make sure no moisture gets inside the device. As
regards the outdoor sensor, check to make sure the
battery compartment cover is fitted properly, espe-
cially when you have changed the batteries.
If dust has accumulated in the opening of the sensor
cover, it can be removed with a vacuum cleaner.
