Instruction manual for stepladders
1. Intended use
This ladder is a portable piece of work equipment which
can be used in different locations. With this ladder, min-
or work can be carried out at heights at which using
other work equipment is disproportionate (see Ordinan-
ce on Industrial Safety and Health). This ladder may
only be used as described in this instruction and opera-
ting manual. Any other use is considered to be improper
use. We will not be liable for any damage resulting from
improper use. Any modifications to the ladder, which have
not been authorised by the manufacturer, will void any
guarantee and warranty claims.
2. Technical information
The technical information relevant for the respective lad-
der type can be found on the product. Spare parts will be
available for 10 years.
3. Assembly instructions
Usually, the ladders are completely assembled when deli-
vered.

4. General safety instructions
• Danger of suffocation due to packaging
• Ladders and packaging materials are not toys
• When using this ladder, there is a fundamental risk of
falling down or over. This may result in personal injuries
and damage to property
• All work with and on the ladder must be carried out so
that these hazards are kept to a minimum
• The ladder must only be used for light work of a short
duration
• Do not work on the ladder for long periods without
regular breaks. Fatigue endangers safe use
• The ladder must be suitable for the respective
application and may only be used in the specified set-up
position
• Only use the intended tread surfaces
• It is prohibited to modify the ladder or parts of the
ladder
• Ensure firm grip of the ladder when carrying out work
and climbing up and down
• It is essential to observe the valid national provisions
and regulations, in particular during professional use
