INSTALLTION
5.1

REGULATIONS

Pleas install the fire in accordance with the applicable national, local and constructional
(installation) regulations.
Observe the regulations/instructions in this manual.
5.2

FLUE DUCT

The following requirements apply to the flue duct:
− the flue duct must be inspected in advance by a specialist;
− the flue duct must be suitable for connection to a wood stove;
− the fire must be connected to a single, unshared fire duct;
− the flue duct must be clean and gastight;
− the bend in the flue duct may amount to a maximum of 1.5 meters;
− the diameter of the flue duct must be equal to the diameter of the stove's flue exhaust;
− the draught in the flue duct must be at least 12 Pascal;
− in case of a duct with a draught that is too strong, it may be necessary to install a flue valve;
− flue pipes must be placed in such a way that they drain towards the stove;
− the flue duct must be self supporting and may not rest on the stove;
5.3

INSTALLING THE FIRE

Install the fire as follows:
Caution
- Do not make any changes to the fire;
- suspend the fire from a wall with sufficient load-bearing strength;
- suspend the fire from a wall made of non-combustible material;
- always place the fire and/or the flue pipes at a minimum distance of 700
mm from combustible objects and/or materials;
- place a fire-resistant floor plate under the fire, extending 300 mm in front of
the stove, if it is suspended above a floor made of combustible material;
- do not cover the fire and/or do not wrap it in an insulation blanket or any
other material;
- observe the requirements for the flue duct, as stated in paragraph 5.2.
